watching DVD’s

Watching DVD’s all day long - thats what i did on May 09th 2005 . And i am proud of it . Considering the amount of work i usuualy have been doing past few days - what with web hosting and Discuss TV , i had made a pact with myself - that Sunday I am gonna relax totally by myself , watching DVD’s . So almost since the morning , i locked myself in my room , dressed down to my pajama’s , turned on the AC and have been watching one DVD after another .

From the morning , i have watched … lets see : first it was a comedy movie at the early hours of dawn / rather last night - Mumbai Express , starring Kamal Hasan and Monisha Koirala . Did made me laugh , especially the climax scene with the original mumbai express and the stage name mumbai express - that was very nicely created / built .
After i woke up , quite late in the day , around 11 am , i had my breakfast and then started watching a lesser entertaining movie , called - JURM , starring Bobby Deol , Gul Panang and Lara Datta . I dont know why , but somehoew any good movie even , containing Bobby Deol - somehow makes the movie less tasteful. Although having 2 lovely heroines , especially Lara Datta was a plus point , but the typical storyline and Bobby Deol - somehow went against it .
Never mind , as the next story i did see - was much much better , an English DVD this time , namely Between Strangers . Starcast - Sophia Loren, Mira Sorvino, Deborah Kara Unger, Gérard Depardieu, Malcolm McDowell . Although Yahoo Movies rates it as B+ , i enjoy these kind of movies - about relations , about simaltaneously story lines . Not to forget the amazing Sophia Loren , so much aged - yet still , leaves an impression .
And, now almost at the last hours , i finished seeing Angelina Jolie’s Life or Something Like it . In DiscussTV , we have a section for newsreaders - this story is about Angelina Jolie acting as TV personality , anchor as well. I wonder how different is our indian tv newsreaders jobs from their American counterparts. !
