Today divvya told me , “your blog is so boring ” . Now , i do agree that the last to times i was posting about technical stuff , so it is no surprise to me she wud nt like it Personally i feel blogging is just for fun , its for personal satisfaction and of course it is even more fun when others comment on it … no doubt … but then the question arises … do we blog in a way to only invite comments ? I am of the idea that Blogs are personal diaries on the web . Where we have the independence to write whatever is on my mind at that moment or all thru the day , some incident in my life , my day to day life . I can’t but change the daily happenings or my train of thoughts just for makign it more pleasing for others to post their outlook to it .

Since i am on the topic of Blogging , lemme unravel a few mysteries for our other wannabe bloggers .
To create your Blog , you go to your Control Panel on DiscussTV forums and select : Create a Blog
It will ask you to agree to some Terms , read it once … its not earthshattering news …. but if you don’t read it Admin will spank you
Once you have read and Understood….. which a person seldom does when asked to … click Finish
You will now be prsented with a array of options , which closely looked at is nthing but your choice of allowing other nosy people to give u useless banter … in other words , wether you want to allow them to post comment on your blog , Its pretty self explanatory … scroll down to the Customize the Look option
There you better choose “Default Status of New Entries to Published , else you will be posting stuff which will not display from outside if it stays as Draft, ( which by the way is what Divya did at first )
Once you are doen with that and submitted , the Next thing is again On the Left hand menu Under Community Blog choose the About Me option and jot down a few lines about the Wonderful you ….. so the other people know what kind of person’s blog they are readin at a glance
Once you are done , you can choose My Blog and start making your First Entry which by the way is on the top menu in the page where it says Entries …. hover under it and it will allow you to Create a Entry
The Content Blogs is something i am leaving for now , and will update at a later time
