adsense with adbrite on same page

For the past one hour i have been rechecking about putting adbrite and Google adsense codes on the same page. I read quite a few blogs , like on ProBlogger etc , some discussions on Webmasterworld . I wont say for myself I still believe that putting both Adsense and Adbrite on the same page will be fully legal or allowed by Google . I also read that the Adbrite owner has mentioned in his Official blog that ” they dont have any problems with such a scenario” , and he has also been quoted on Webmasterworld that Google has OK’ed it . Even the people on webmasterworld seem to have reached a conclusion that such a inclusion will not lead to any penalisation . but I myself am yet to see a full fledged and well running site doing it and getting away with it.

Now , the difference with Google adsense ads and Adbrite Ads are that while Adsense serves Directly contextual Ads on its publishers site’s , Adbrite only serves Auctioned ads - which could be anything based on whoever is paying the Publisher more , probably . But Google is still officialy quite vague on this , as they mention in their FAQ that ANY ad text link ads campaign that might look familliar to Googles own ads would have to be discarded .

From what that line should mean , I am guessing , one should not be using something like Yahoo Publisher network ads and simmilar . I am currently thinking that I might just be try to put some Adbrite code on same page as Adsense for once and see if google raises any objections yet .
