ecards and birthday greetings

Today was laila’s birth day. I am usually quite bad at choosing greetings card. Thank goodness for e-cards, i at least nowadays send ecards , if it was for me and sending it by post and buying it from the shop, i might have been too lazy. Anyway, so i got down to choosing a proper birthday card for her. Earlier, I have made Divya or Roshni choose ecards for me since i normally suck at it but this time , i decided ki i will make a attempt.

While trying to look for one, i noticed that most ecards sites suck …. even more. Either they have toooo many popups and ads, or they have google adsense. So half the time … even if u manage to find a site with a collection worth mentioning, like 123greetings … u would probably click on a Adsense ad and surf into another site On other occassions, the collections in the Ecards sites simply are not even worth mentioning.

Now , i did like one or two cards in Hallmark.com , but then the collection for Birthdays simply didnt seem that good. So , for whatever reason, i decided to go to the Americangreetings.com site . Now i knew from previous places like Yahoo or MSN that American Greetings is a premium site . When i went there , i saw that not the full site was premium .. but much of it was. Even among the free ones i saw one or two which were pretty nice. And every time , of course there was this Promo banner saying , subscribe to 1 month trial . I have decided to give it a go. I was pretty impressed by its colection and till now its on Trial for 1 month and i can cancel anytime. after logging in, i noticed that I also have a address book , a reminder facility , Invite system, some cool wallpapers and the best - a very well categorized and beautiful collection of E-cards.
