new glasses

OK , this should have been posted before , but anyway here is the earth shattering news . For the past 1 week , i now have glasses / specs … whatever you call it . Before that , i was having weird headaches and it was feeling as if one side would crumble and fall off , but that didn’t happen , of course . Tried setting up an appointment with the eye doctor , who very conveniently had gone on a vacation . Now , of course there are other doctors , but then this on was just opposite to my office …. so waited for him to come back .
The appointment was set up on a thursday , thus allowing me to keep the appointment with less office workload . However , on visiting the doctors chamber , the story changed again …. and was made to sit twidling thumbs for over 1 and a half hour. Being a impatient and short tempered guy ( especially during work hours) , didn’t wait as much and came back to office . But anyway , finally the doc came and on seeing me after 1-2 tests , he was quite startled that i didn’t already have glasses .
He instructed his junior / aide to make my glasses and asked me to choose a frame of my choice. Before making a decision in full , i did ask some of my DTV friends . Some had said that a rectangle frame would suit me , but i opted for a rimless one , those who know me well enough will find the pic on my orkut profile . I personally think that this one is suiting me well enough .
However , am not fully sure that i am set with glasses , maybe it is just taking little time to adjust for my eyes , but some stuff still looks a little blurrry , otherwise it is fine.
